Are you analytical, organized and curious about how TV channels and streaming services are actually programmed? Do you enjoy working with data, content and creating effective schedules? And do you love BBC series and documentaries, including titles such as Death in Paradise, Bake Off and Silent Witness? Then this could be the internship for you.

Als Programming stagiair draai je volledig mee binnen het Programming team en krijg je veel verantwoordelijkheid. Je leert hoe zenderplanningen, VOD-aanbod, FAST-kanalen en contentstrategieën tot stand komen en worden onderhouden. Je gaat o.a.:

Bijhouden en updaten van programmadocumenten, planningen en schema’s
Invoeren, controleren en aanpassen van content in onze systemen (zoals Movida en P7)
Ondersteunen bij het plannen en beheren van FAST-kanalen (gratis streamingkanalen met advertenties), inclusief lange termijn planning
Nieuwe programma’s bekijken en meedenken over programmering
Samenwerken met de teams van Content Acquisities, Marketing, Media Planning en Operations

As a Programming Intern, you’ll be fully involved in the Programming team and take on meaningful responsibilities. You’ll learn how channel schedules, video-on-demand (VOD) catalogues, FAST channels and content strategies are developed and maintained. Your tasks will include:

Maintaining and updating programming documents, plans and schedules.
Entering, checking and updating content information in our systems, including Movida and P7.
Supporting the scheduling and management of FAST channels (free, ad-supported streaming TV channels), including long-term planning.
Watching new programmes and contributing ideas for scheduling.
Working with the Content Acquisitions, Marketing, Media Planning and Operations teams.

Deze stage is perfect voor studenten (HBO of WO) in o.a. Media, Communicatie, of vergelijkbaar, die:

Analytisch en organisatorisch sterk zijn
Interesse hebben in TV, streaming en contentstrategie
Gestructureerd, proactief en nauwkeurig werken
Enthousiast worden van het snijvlak tussen creatieve content en data
Vloeiend in Nederlands en goede beheersing van Engels
Kennis van een Scandanavische taal is een pluspunt
Gek zijn op Britse kwaliteitscontent (denk: QI, The Great British Bake Off, Death in Paradise, sterke denk: QI,The Theede storytelling)

This internship is ideal for students studying Media, Communications or a related subject at a university or University of Applied Sciences (WO/HBO), who:

Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
Are interested in TV, streaming and content strategy.
Work in a structured, proactive and accurate way.
Enjoy combining creative content with data.
Fluent in English with a strong command of Dutch.
Ideally have knowledge of a Scandinavian language.
Love quality British content, from QI, The Great British Bake Off and Death in Paradise to compelling drama and great storytelling.
