Are you online day and night and do the social media channels have no secrets for you? Do you also have great affinity with the Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. brands? Than you are the one we are looking for!

We are recruiting an intern who has great ideas and wants to help us define and manage our social media and online marketing strategy for the Consumer Products division. As our Social Media & Online Marketing intern, you are aware of the latest social media trends. You are therefore an active user of all major social media and digital platforms. You are capable of creating a digital experience that is loved by kids and appreciated by their parents. You are eager to translate your ideas for a successful social media strategy into practice and to transform this strategy into a practical social media content calendar. You are able to write and publish compelling and engaging posts and you are able to analyze these posts. Finally, our brands are always top of mind! The main target group for Consumer Products is pre-schoolers (2-5 year old kids) and their parents/caretakers.


Together with the Senior Retail & Licensing Manager you will be defining and managing the social media & online marketing strategy for the Nickelodeon Consumer Products division.

Activities may include:

  • Competition research
  • Definition of the right platforms
  • Benchmarking these platforms
  • Mapping the target groups in relation to the Nickelodeon brands
  • Developing online mini-sites and brand pages to support events, etc.
  • Making social media content calendars based on the social media strategy for the miscellaneous Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. social platforms
  • Writing compelling and engaging content for the social media and online platforms
  • Publishing the content on the basis of the social media calendar on all platforms
  • Act as our social media ambassador, both in- and extern
  • Analyzing the social media content by collecting information of the platforms and continuously optimizing the content and approach.


We are looking for an enthusiastic intern with the following profile:

  • Currently a third or fourth year student at business studies with focus on Media & Culture, Informatiekunde, Commerce, Marketing, Digital Media and/or Communication;
  • Strong affinity with digital landscape and social media
  • Active and experienced with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft and Adobe packages
  • Social, creative, pro-active, resourceful and enthusiastic
  • Great affinity with our target audience: parents and caretakers of preschoolers, kids 6-12 years and of course our Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. brands
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Excellent communicative and social skills
  • Great team player
